The Robinwood Foundation prioritizes nonprofits that support underserved communities with a particular emphasis on addressing disparities in education, housing, nutrition, and mental health.
Generally, grants awarded by The Robinwood Foundation will range from $1,000 to a maximum of $250,000. Grants will not exceed 20% of the total operating budget. At the foundation's discretion, funds may be given in the form of a challenge grant.
A current annual operating budget, including expenses and revenue, must be provided. In addition, the most recent annual financial statement (independently audited, if available) is required. If this not available, please provide the most recent Form 990.
The Robinwood Foundation only awards grants to nonprofit organizations aligned with our mission and possessing a valid tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization also must be classified as a public charity, not as a “private foundation”, under Section 509(a)(1) or (2) of the code.
