If invited to apply, follow these steps to submit your application:
- Complete the Grant Application Form: Fill out the online application form provided to your organization. Ensure all required fields are accurately completed.
- Submit Supporting Documents: As attachments below, submit your grant application cover sheet and grant narration, along with your current operating budget and recent financial statement or form 990.
- Review and Confirmation: After you have submitted all documents you will receive either an email with confirmation that your application is complete, or an email with a request for additional information should your application be incomplete.

The Robinwood Foundation plans to ultimately have one funding cycle each year with dates to be announced.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofit Status: Applicants must be tax-exempt organizations under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and be classified as a public charity, not a private foundation. The 501(c)(3) must be in full compliance with all federal and state tax and filing requirements.
- Geographic Focus: We focus on organizations located in California, New Jersey, and New York.
- Mission Alignment: We prioritize organizations that are directly involved in healthcare, housing, nutrition, educational, and neighborhood park initiatives. We focus on income inequality and serving the underprivileged and underserved. Grants can fund new or expanding research initiatives, technology, and general operating support, not to exceed 20% of the grantee's total operating budget. Generally, grants will range from $5,000 to a maximum of $250,000. Contributions less than $5,000 may be provided at the foundation's discretion.
- Direct Service Provision: Funding is prioritized for organizations that provide services with measurable outcomes.
